About us--

 

      Intimacy House of Prayer is a very small, but up-and-coming, church.  The church was planted by Roosevelt Overstreet and daughter Parrie Foster about 20 years ago.  Later, Pastor Willie Foster emerged as Pastor after Pastor Roosevelt departed this life into his resting place.  OverseerPastor Willie Foster, Jr. has preached in the jail ministry for 50 + years.  He has been married to one wife, Parrie Foster, for 50 years.  Together they have raised children, foster children, and grandchildren, in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. 

   

       As a strong believer in the teachings of Jesus Christ, Overseer Pastor Foster felt compelled to name the church House of Prayer.  Since that name was so popular, he felt led by the spirit to name the church "Intimacy House of Prayer," so that all members that come through, will feel compelled to develop and build within themselves a home of constant prayer.  Overseer Foster is known for quoting "if you keep your mind stayed on Jesus, he will keep you in perfect peace."     

     

     If you want to know what makes this church so unique? it is that, while other churches emphasize "external prosperity," we know that true prosperity is only discovered by forming an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.  As God begins to mold you more into the image of his Son Jesus, (through the Holy Spirit) you will become more like him, and that is true prosperity!  Visit a true authentic church that knows prosperity, salvation, hope, faith, joy, love, peace, etc., is only found in Jesus Christ!
